What's the most important thing you can get from a workout?
It's probably not what you think.
Follow me here:
How would you feel going to a trainer for the first time?
You haven't exercised for a while and want to feel healthier, move better, feel more like you again. A little nervous. A little excited.
You trust they know how to help you.
And then an overzealous trainer, trying to impress their new client, leads you through a gauntlet of a workout that would qualify as cruel and unusual punishment in any court of law.
You were looking forward to this and now you, can't walk, stand, or even sit without being rudely reminded of the devastation that occurred on the gym floor. Everything hurts and you don't ever want to go through that again.
If this were a first date, there wouldn't be a second. This is not a good way to start a relationship with exercise.
The trainer forgot, or most likely never even knew, the most important thing you can get from a workout:
The desire for another one.
You don't learn that from a certification. You learn it from experience and reflection.
On Saturday September 30th at 1pm we'll be presenting a FREE seminar on “The Top 5 Success Strategies When Starting (or continuing) An Exercise Program.”
The fitness industry has been misleading at best, and dangerous at worst when talking about what really matters. We want to fix that.
We have a different approach than most gyms. So many of our clients came to us with stories like the above. They thought that fitness probably wasn't for them.
Our approach has helped hundreds of those people drop medication, play with their grandkids, and live healthier more vital and productive lives in many ways.
The things we'll talk about in this seminar may not be what comes to most people's minds (some trainers included) but you'll leave this seminar with tools you can use right away whether you're just starting or have been exercising for years. These tools will lead to far deeper and more meaningful success than you may have thought possible.
